We successfully unfurled our inaugural 361Core session on October 12, both in the illustrious setting of New York City and virtually. This event was a reflection of the essence of 361Core, marking the beginning of a series of enriching engagements.
Our Charter Members
Armen Sarkissan:
Dr. Armen Sarkissian: An esteemed figure in Armenian politics and academia, Dr. Armen Sarkissian served as the 4th President of Armenia from 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, he held the role of Prime Minister in 1996-1997 and was Armenia's Ambassador to the UK, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, The Vatican, EU, and NATO. Notably, he established the first Armenian Embassy in London in 1991, marking Armenia's diplomatic foothold in the West.
A physicist by training, Dr. Sarkissian graduated from Yerevan State University's Department of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics and later served as a professor there. His academic pursuits led him to the University of Cambridge, where he worked alongside luminaries like Stephen Hawking and Lord Martin Rees. He also made his mark in the tech world as a co-creator of the game Wordtris, a Tetris spinoff.
In addition to his political and academic achievements, Dr. Sarkissian is a prolific writer, having authored several scientific articles and books. He recently announced a forthcoming book titled "The Small States Club: How Small Smart States can Save the World." Beyond this, Dr. Sarkissian's roles span from being the founding president of Eurasia House International to serving on various international boards, emphasizing democratic leadership, conflict resolution, and good governance.
His rich career is complemented by his personal associations, including a close friendship with King Charles III of the UK. Dr. Sarkissian's dedication to Armenia's global standing and internal development has left an indelible mark on the nation's history.
Kenneth Goldman:
With a career spanning over four decades, Kenneth Goldman stands out as a financial luminary known for his vast expertise and leadership in global finance functions. He notably served as the Chief Financial Officer of Yahoo!, steering its financial planning, analysis, controllership, tax, treasury, and investor relations from 2012. Before Yahoo!, Kenneth’s credentials include roles as the CFO of Fortinet, Inc., Siebel Systems, Inc., and Dexterra. His financial acumen has been instrumental in taking three companies public during his tenure as CFO.
Beyond these executive roles, Kenneth’s portfolio includes membership and chairmanship on over 40 corporate boards, with over 10 of these companies going public during his board membership. Currently, he holds board positions at companies like Fortinet, RingCentral, Zuora, and GoPro, Inc. His commitment to the academic and professional community is evident through his involvement with institutions like Cornell University, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC). Additionally, Goldman serves on the advisory boards of Harvard Business School's California Research Center and the Hoover Institution.
Kenneth’s academic background includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Outside the boardroom, he pursues passions in skiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and golf.
Todd Ruppert:
Founder and CEO of Ruppert International, Todd has an impressive career spanning over 40 years in the financial services sector. He's held significant positions such as CEO and president of T. Rowe Price Global Investment Services and venture partner at Greenspring Associates, a $17 billion VC firm. In the VC/PE domain, he advises top-tier firms like Access Holdings, Antler, and Motive Partners, among others.
Todd's leadership roles extend as chairman of institutions like RSR Partners and London’s Royal Parks Foundation (USA). He also served on the board of INSEAD Business School for nearly a decade. His advisory capacities span various sectors, including education (Duke University, INSEAD), fintech (SenaHill, Bite Investments), and arts (MTArt Agency). Todd's passion for film is evident as the executive producer of documentaries like "A Year in Burgundy."
