60-90 minute panel inside a bigger 361 summit. Lower lift than a standalone deep-dive — borrows the parent event's audience and operations. Best for surfacing a topic to a wider room than your usual circle would reach.

Timeline

T-30

›Lock the panel theme — make it a question, not a topic. 'Will AI replace LPs?' beats 'AI in venture'.
›Identify 3-4 panelists with strongly different positions on the question.

T-14

›Send each panelist a 1-page brief: the question, the 4-5 sub-questions, format, time.
›Decide moderator role — usually the co-leader, sometimes a 361 partner.

T-7

›Run a 30-min prep call with all panelists together. Settles dynamic before the room.
›Confirm bios + headshots are in the parent event's program.

day-of

›Arrive at the parent venue 30 min before your panel slot.
›Open with the question + 60 seconds per panelist of position. Then dig.
›Save 10 min at the end for room Q&A — don't skip it.

Common mistakes

Too friendly a lineup — all panelists agreeing is boring. Pick at least one contrarian.
Moderator over-talking. Your job is to set up the next punch, not throw it.
Ignoring the room — keep eye contact, not your notes.
Going over time. The next session will start without you.
