As many of you know, philanthropy has always been a key pillar of the 361Firm community. For a while now, we have been researching ways to combine our approach to for-profit investment with our passion for social impact, and we are excited to announce our flagship 361Firm Philanthropy Fund. Here's how it is going to work:

As a community, we are going to pick a cause to get behind. You can provide your input through this 361 Philanthropy Survey. The Impact Labs team will use their Impact Analysis Engine to design a philanthropy fund comprised of high-impact nonprofits that are addressing our cause from multiple angles. Their model evaluates nonprofits based on their breadth, depth, evidence, and timeline of impact, prioritizing real-world outcomes. We are going to leverage our networks to drive not only donations into the fund but strategic added value.

We will receive detailed reports on where our donations are going, who they’re helping, and what we can do to increase our impact. Eventually, we will expand our scope to include for-profit opportunities in the space. This will include opportunities for strategic partnerships, impact investments, recruiting, networking, volunteering, and more.

We are looking for passionate members of the 361 community to help us kickstart this new initiative. To get involved, please (1) fill out this brief 361 Philanthropy Survey about your philanthropic goals and interests and (2) join our Mobilization Call on Tuesday at 10:30am ET when we will have a special Breakout for this .

Dear 361 Community, Since 2019, Stephen R. Burke of ARS has given opening briefings around the world, and via Zoom on Tuesdays at 11AM since April 2020. See Briefing Playlist on our 361 Channel. On Jan. 21, 2025, 361Firm will host our 250th Tuesday Briefing in a row. At the 200th mark, we hosted "watch party" gatherings in over 30 cities.
