Cincinnati technically now starts on Thursday, June 2, with a reception at the house of Jack and Peg Wyant. You may recall Peg as the author of One Red Shoe who lead a special talk last year. Friday morning is now officially at the Cincinnati Country Club where we will have Pickleball and Tennis Courts as well as a nice venue to watch the games and network before moving to the “Over the Rhine” area for CIntrifuse for the conference. After panels and breakouts and our Town Hall, we move to the Reds game with a special panel on the Business of Sport with owners and players, and special guests including once again Tom Browning who is one of a few to throw a “Perfect Game”. |

(1) 361Firm vs. (2) Denison Alumni We are excited to host the inaugural “Friendly” Soccer Match between the 361Firm Community and Denison Alumni, on Saturday June 4 1-2pm ET at Denison’s Barclay Field. It will be short (1 hour) for a few reasons. First, so we don't kill each other and ourselves. Second, we need to move on to golf, cocktails and dinners. Rules and other bits to come later. So nobody gets hurt, we really prefer shin guards but we will have a "strict" rule of no fouling (or you buy the entire team a round of drinks). Our bus takes us from Cincinnati on Saturday morning at 9am (after breakfast with the secret Keynote and after Friday being out late for the Reds game and Pins) to Granville for a healthy lunch. Then we go to the Denison Locker Room to change and get ready for a "Friendly" match. We will play two 25-minute periods, partly because we may need to mix up the team. Plus, we like mixing things up so everyone gets to know everyone. We will put a charitable wager on this, but more on that later. It also relates to my mentor Lou Mitchell. You will see his name on the building with the Locker Rooms What we need to do now is add players. Denison has an advantage in that it is Reunion, and many are coming from recent classes and played varsity. The 361 Team has its own advantages, but we won't reveal those here yet. By tradition, our community meets on Thursdays for lunch. This week, we start informally at 12pm, and formally at 12:30 when everyone introduces themselves and a "fun fact” (without repeating ones you shared at an earlier lunch). We also discuss a few timely topics and try to help each other with ASKs. Please email inessa@361firm.com if you’d like to join. This week we have some special guests: 1) Our friend Charles Way (ex-NY Giant RB) is bringing Carla Lide-Buglione of NFL Player Engagement. She helps players both on and off the field, including wealth management practices. The NFL has a curriculum program, and we will explore how the 361 community could be helpful with that and otherwise. 2) Jack Wyant and Ann Mooney will be in town from Cincinnati, where we kick off Part 2 of the Midwest Tour on June 2 at Jack's house. They will share the latest updates on the Ohio Tour - see Program Deck at https://bit.ly/361ohio2022, and register at www.361firm.com/ohio2022. 3) Technology will be a theme as we will ask Nitin Sacheti to discuss tech in the public markets and others involved in the private markets (e.g. AI, as Amgine CEO Mike Carr will update us on TravelTech and Eddy van der Paardt will share insight on AgTech). This week, we will order lunch in, and will distribute menus ahead of time. Also on Thursday, at 10:30-11am we host the Meetup to discuss Impact and Philanthropic Interests on Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/3613613601?pwd=ZVFXOVluMkJWR0pveVRzTXZqMG82QT09) - you are welcome to join that as well. (1) Our App is accessible via Web (www.361Firm.App), via iOS or Android. (2) Deals/Funds. Below is an excerpt from our no-name Shared Deal Pipeline of recently onboarded funds/deals. Upon onboarding a deal or fund, our team reviews them that often leads to “inbound” inquiries from the community which focuses us even more on certain entries. If we think a fund/deal might be compelling, we set up a Zoom to learn more and might discuss how we might act as a placement agent. We can send an MOU of basic terms. If agreed, we engage in due diligence in association with our broker-dealer Stonehaven. If we enter into a Mandate Agreement, we then can show it to suitable investors and can make use of our extensive network and 100+ bankers. (3) Ohio Projects. Given my history and Ohio’s unique programs including JobsOhio, if you might locate or expand to Ohio, our team can assist in coordination with Lt. Governor Jon Husted, JobsOhio CEO JP Nauseef and others. “Ohio Projects” can be small such as adding an office or outsourcing to an Ohio-based company or as large as Intel’s $20B chip plant near my hometown (for which Ohio provided ~$2B of incentives).
