Dear 361Firm Core Community, this is a big deal. Per my video last year on how it evolved, in Sept. 2019 I walked into Dentons London office for Day 2 of our UK Conference (next one is June 19-22) and saw Stephen Burke holding court. He was updating everyone per the 10 newspapers he had read. I decided to ask Stephen to kick off the session’s first topic, and we took the format to Dallas, Vancouver, Seattle, SF, LA, Phoenix, and then in 2020 to Florida, etc. until March 7 in Ohio Lt. Gov Jon Husted told us he was about to walk into a press conference to shut down the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic due to COVID. Soon after we all were Zooming, which led to the “Tuesday Briefing” anchored by Stephen Burke. Now, 150 weeks later (really 200), we pause to thank and “roast” Stephen for helping us navigate what’s important in the world, every single week! After 100 weeks, we asked to send short clips thanking him, which led to this montage 100th Briefing Tribute Video. Today, we ask again. By 9pm please upload a clip (even just 10 seconds) via this Form plus suggestions on what you’d like for future Briefings… and if you wish to join in person (529 5th Ave). On Tuesday, we focus on Taiwan, followed by a panel of hedge funds investing into both Taiwan and China. His 98th Briefing was on Ukraine scenarios and 10 days later Russia invaded, but who knows what will happen 10 days after his 150th Briefing.
