Day 2 delves into disruptive tech with roundtables led by 361Firm on HealthTech, DesertTech, AgTech, AI, Fintech and Proptech, plus one on “Saudi Arabia: The Investment Frontier,” a roadmap to navigating Vision 2030, unlocking regional opportunities, and understanding the Kingdom’s evolving economic landscape. On April 1, we hosted our 260th Briefing“ Investing & Uncertainty” - see 361Firm’s YouTube page. We expected tariffs, but not to the extent announced. Stephen Burke discussed the current economic uncertainty, noting a potential double bottom in the US market and the impact of global trade fragmentation. We highlighted the rise in defense spending globally, including the US, Europe, and China, and the challenges of developing new defense programs. Energy demand is increasing, with a 2.2% growth in 2024. Infrastructure needs in the US are significant, with a $3.7 trillion gap by 2033. The discussion also covered the impact of tariffs on inflation, the rule of law, and the potential for recession due to this and policy uncertainties.

On April 2, 361Firm hosted its Private Credit & PE Summit at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, bringing together a dynamic mix of LPs, including family offices for a full day of insights. The sessions explored a range of credit strategies and private equity themes, with panels featuring seasoned allocators and breakout discussions that went deep into niche segments. We’re pleased to share a few moments from the day, captured during some of the standout conversations.

MANDATES. We now have over 60 mandates, and you can see most in our No-name Deal Pipeline. We now have 20+ funds in niches like AI and private credit. We also have about 20+ direct deals from $2M to $200M for equity (e.g. in payments, VR, domes, tire recycling) and debt (e.g. off-grid-EV charging, GP buy-out).
